The process of commissioning an original piece is one that is quite simple, but at the same time somewhat of a journey, its all centered about those brief moments in the field pursuing your sport they are treasured times and often to few in the hectic lives many live today. Think of commissioning a painting as the act of taking a piece of your experience home with you in a tangible way, more than a photograph, a one of a kind original painting is a physical impression of all you treasure about the experience afield, designed to capture the essence and feel of that particular event, it remains for you and yours a symbol of your enjoyment for many years after it is completed.

Daniel takes considerable time and care when composing a piece for a client, unless Daniel is to accompany the client to the field, it very important to provide accurate photographs and your own thoughts and desired outcomes for your piece. Daniel will present to you a proposal for your consideration which will include drawings to outline possible composition of your piece, and approximate times for completion and pricing.

Prices for a commissioned original watercolor painting start at $1000 and run to approximately $6000 depending on the complexity of the piece. Oils start at $2000 and go to $12000 again full consideration being given to the size and details involved in the piece. All elements are thoroughly discussed and considered before the process begins so everyone involved is well informed and all expectations are completely met. In some cases a 50% deposit may be required up front, but in most cases we prefer that the piece is fully completed and delivery accepted before payment is made, Daniel prefers this gentleman's way of doing business.
